Why Surface Shape Matters

A secure bond is critical to ensure 100% excellent performance. The shape of the surface to be adhered to significantly impacts adhesive selection and application technique.

Important Considerations:

What is the substrate that the adhesive will need to bond with?
What is the shape of the substrate's surface: flat, curved, ribbed, full support?
What conditions will the adhesive need to withstand in storage, during shipping, or in use: temperature, humidity, vibration, friction, etc.
How will the operator handle the foam part when the adhesive is exposed?
Operators must always protect against contamination of the adhesive or substrate.
Operators must always apply significant pressure when applying the product.
